Enter a world of Beauty and
Imagination. . .

This is my world. this is the world I love.It is a world without limits. My world is what I choose to make it.
For me I choose realistic arts. Because in this art, it shows awareness and acceptance of reality, practical rather than ideal  or moral. Depicting what is real when you draw something you should be able to depict that it is real.  Realism rejects imaginative idealization in favor of a close observation  of outward appearance. As such, realism in it's broad sense has comprised many artistic currents in different civilizations.

I really like real art. Because in realistic art, it is an art that takes as it's subject real objects, scenes, events, people and situations that exist in the world, and attempts to render them mostly as they actually are to our visual sense, as well as to our emotions and mind.
In realistic art paints an image with shadows and 3d images that show depth and that look like something you would see in real life. Abstract uses 2d shapes without shadows that make a DISTORTED image...something you would definitely not see in real life.

Painting is just another way of keeping a diary

Art is an Art

I usually feel nervous when it comes on the spot drawing. For me making an impromptu arts is so different in having an impromptu speech. In making of an arts I should think of a design to convey attraction. Making an impromptu art is not really easy for me. Honestly I’m not good in drawing, but thanks to this subject of History of Arts and Design, it help me a lot in enhancing my skill in drawing. Sometimes there are times when I am not in the good mood in making arts. Although arts is an interesting to do nowadays. But in my own personal experience in making an art, it is enjoyable when you know how to draw.

The style of an artwork, artist, or movement is the distinctive method and form followed by the respective art. Any loose brushy, dripped or poured abstract painting is called expressionistic. Often a style is linked with a particular historical period, set of ideas, and particular artistic movement.. .

Ancient Greece

 History of Arts

History of arts is the history of any activity or product made by human in a visual form for aesthetic or communicative purpose, expressing ideas, emotions or in general.

The best periods of art history for me is, the ancient art. It was largely, but not entirely based on the nine great ancient civilizations: Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia, Greece, Rome, India and Maya. Each of these centers of early civilization developed a unique and characteristics style in it’s art. And for me the most influential ear of art is the ancient Greece. Because Greece had the most influence on the development of aesthetics. This period of Greek art saw a veneration of the human physical form ad the development of corresponding skills to show musculative, poise, beauty and anatomically correct proportions. Now I know that the Greek philosophers initially felt that aesthetically appealing objects were beautiful in and of themselves. He felt that beautiful objects incorporated proportion, harmony, and unity among their parts. An example of ancient aesthetics in Greece through poetry is Plato's quote: "For the authors of those great poems which we admire, do not attain to excellence through the rules of any art; but they utter their beautiful melodies of verse in a state of inspiration, and, as it were, possessed by a spirit not their own."

I choose this history, because I believed that for us to have a perception of beauty there must be a transcendent form for beauty in which beautiful objects partake and which causes them to be beautiful also. Beauty in art reflects the beauty in Art.

Who is Mona Lisa?

Who is Mona Lisa? Who created Mona Lisa? Who is this woman behind the smile? Let's see. I found out that Mona Lisa  is quite possibly the most well-known piece of painted artwork in the entire world. It was painted by the infamous Leonardo Da Vinci, an Italian artist. It is perhaps the most studied piece of artwork ever known. The subject’s facial expression has brought about a source of debate for centuries, as her face remains largely enigmatic in the portrait. And Mona Lisa is famous for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons, of course, for the popularity of the painting is the artist himself. I think Leonardo da Vinci is perhaps the most recognized artist in the world. This portrait was doubtless painted in Florence between 1503 and 1506. It is thought to be of Lisa Gherardini, wife of a Florentine cloth merchant named Francesco del Giocondo - hence the alternative title, La Gioconda. However, Leonardo seems to have taken the completed portrait to France rather than giving it to the person who commissioned it. It was eventually returned to Italy by Leonardo's student and heir Salai. It is not known how the painting came to be in François I's collection

The Mona Lisa is an oil painting, with a cottonwood panel as the surface. It is unusual in that most paintings are commissioned as oil on canvas, but the cottonwood panel is part of what has attributed to the fame of the painting. Because of the medium used for the image, the Mona Lisa has survived for six centuries without ever having been restored–a trait very unusual when considering the time period of the piece.
While most of the artwork of the Renaissance period depicts biblical scenes, it was the style and technique of the paintings of this period which make them distinguished from other eras of artwork. Anatomically correct features are one of the identifiable marks of this period of history in art, and the Mona Lisa stands out amongst the great paintings for the detail in her hands, eyes, and lips. Da Vinci used a shadowing technique at the corners of her lips as well as the corners of her eyes which give her an extremely lifelike appearance and look of amusement. Her portrait is such that to an observer, they are standing right before Lisa Del Giocondo, with the arms of her chair as the barrier between the observer and the subject of the painting.

This is how Leonardo Da Vinci make the Mona Lisa.
And I also found out that there is a meaning behind  Mona Lisa famous smile, it represents the sitter in the same way that the juniper branches represent Ginevra Benci and the ermine represents Cecilia Gallerani in their portraits, in Washington and Krakow respectively. It is a visual representation of the idea of happiness suggested by the word "gioconda" in Italian. Leonardo made this notion of happiness the central motif of the portrait: it is this notion which makes the work such an ideal. The nature of the landscape also plays a role. The middle distance, on the same level as the sitter's chest, is in warm colors. Men live in this space: there is a winding road and a bridge. This space represents the transition between the space of the sitter and the far distance, where the landscape becomes a wild and uninhabited space of rocks and water which stretches to the horizon, which Leonardo has cleverly drawn at the level of the sitter's eyes.

WEEK TEN:
Things to do to enhance CREATIVITY

Good Day Everyone! welcome to my Blog spot World.
Today let's talk about the things that we can increase our creativity.
For me, I know that everyone is creative: Because God gave us the creativity in Life. And did you know that creativity is one of our most powerful characteristics that we posses, sometimes it is the source for the ideas and concepts that help us to earn a living. It has helped geniuses and ordinary people to discover fantastic theories and concept, and sometimes it allowed people to find solution where pure logic wasn't sufficient enough. The amazing positive characteristics of creativity are the reason why we feels so painful and awkward when we experience a lack of creativity. Ass time pass by, I learned that creativity wont' be able to develop my creativity talents if I don't have make time for them. All i have to do is to Enjoy the process of creation. And I learned that I should not focus on the result, just be in the flow..
:-)

For me, being deeply involved in creative activity is the one of the most enjoyable experience we human beings can have. Why? Because it allow me, (personally) to put something back into the pot of my life. To give something of value to others. For me many people, though, creativity seems mysterious and out of reach a gift given to some people and not to others, Because it is not rare gift, but a quite understandable process one that any of us can use to enhance our enjoyment of our life.

WEEK EIGHT:
The Effects of Media in my own Life.

It's another week again.
Now let's talk about the new media.
Do you know what are the effects of new media in the live of people?

For me it's really affected my life its either good or bad. Did you know that media nowadays is considered a window for learning and is also considered to be our main window to the world. But as we all know, media has changed and evolved since then. Media then was primarily used to deliver news across the town and to beef up the people with the information they need for their everyday life. As time pass by, media is evolving, even the contents is evolving. From recorded news to live news via a satellite. From simple text to attractive graphics. From variety shows to teen oriented programs. Media has changed a lot since it started.

For me I think there are different kinds of media that can affect my life and even the lives of other people. The computer, T.V, Radio etc. Actually computer has good effect for me. But sometimes it has bad effect for me.
Computer can help me to communicate to other people. But sometimes it causes me trouble. :) You know it already, right?. Mass Medias have the power to educate people through advertisement, visuals, clippings and film slides. The newspaper is useful only to literate people where as T.V and radio covers all the human flock irrespective of literate or illiterate. Media can help me in different ways.

Week SEVEN: RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY COME AGAIN ANOTHER DAY.

oww! what a rainy days we have. Haha. okie here we go again. Now let's talk about what is rain first? Did you know that Rain is a type of precipitation, a product of the condensation of atmospheric water vapor that is deposited on the earth's surface. It forms when separate drops of water fall to the Earth's surface from clouds. Not all rain reaches the surface; some evaporates while falling through dry air. When none of it reaches the ground, it is called virga, a phenomenon often seen in hot, dry desert regions. It is a major component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on the planet. Did you know what's rain is? it's science right? haha. So, for me, that's the definition. :-)

The second one is. what do you think the funny things to do when it rains? For me the things that I usually do when it rains is that I sleep and I eat a lot of food. XD
And sometimes I watch t.v.. The truth is when it rain I'm bored. But you know, I Eat hot corn-on-the-cob and it is another of my fave activities when it rains. Get yours butter-roasted on hot coals and top it with salt,   chilli powder and a squeeze of lemon. Yum! And Of course, the funnest thing to do in the Rain is to get wet. Or better still, dance under the drops f rains. oyeah!!
happy! XD

Week Six: The internet Highway

Hi Guys! here we go again. haha! this is our topic for today. Lets talk about the internet highway.

In this Generation, internet is very important to humans. It help us to communicate to others and it help us to do the things easy, specially to the students.
The Internet, sometimes called simply "the Net," is a worldwide system of computer networks - a network of networks in which users at any one computer can, if they have permission, get information from any other computer (and sometimes it talks directly to users at other computers). The original aim was to create a network that would allow users of a research computer at one university to be able to "talk to" research computers at other universities. Today, the Internet is a public, cooperative, and self-sustaining facility accessible to hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Physically, the Internet uses a portion of the total resources of the currently existing public telecommunication networks. And whatever it’s called, the majority of people in developed nations are now going online to exchange electronic mail (E-mail) and instant messages; participate in chat groups; post and read messages in social networking sites and blogs, “surf” the world wide web; and many other online activities. Even children are no exception in fact they are more likely to be online than adults.

Personal computers are no longer the only method used for accessing the Internet. Children can go online from personal computers at home, a friend’s house, in school, a library, club, or cafe. Many game consoles can be connected to the Internet and used for chatting and other online interaction. It is also possible to access the Internet on mobile devices such as cellular telephones and other hand-held devices. In other words children don’t have to be in the company of responsible adults to use the Internet. And once you’re connected to the Internet you’re able to exchange information with people who use other providers unless you’re using a service that offers restricted access such as blocking mail from outside the service or from people who aren’t pre-approved by a child’s parent. But internet have benefits that reference the information such as airline fares, encyclopedias, movie reviews, news, sports, stock quotes, and weather are readily available.Like what I've said internet can help us in many ways. But internet can affects us in different ways. It's either good or bad. Its a matter of how we used internet in a nice way.
Week Five: My new Family

Last July 19, 2012. they have the program about the Official Organization for the MultiMedia Students. On that Day I got a dengue fever, so I don't know what really happened on that day. But based on my interview to my classmates. I think they enjoyed for being there. The others said that it was fun and memorable to them.

For me, personally even that I did not come on the Official Organization for MULTIMEDIA students. Because of my fever. I feel happy because of their expressions. And for me, as a Transferee student and a Shifter student I'm Happy for being part of CAS Family. This is my new Family. Like others I feel comfortable here and relax.

MMa Family is my Family Artist, My new Family! I know we can make a fun memories! :-)
Week four:  TEAM WORK

HELLO! What is teamwork for you. Actually for me, Teamwork is very important for me and of course for us as a human. We need each other to do all things together. Teamwork is the process of working together with a group of people in order to achieve a goal. And it means that people will try to cooperate, using their individual skills and providing constructive feedback, despite any personal conflict between individuals. One of my example here is the parents working with teachers to help students achieve their potential are an example of a teamwork. It is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. We as a humans, we need each other to do the thing we cannot to do, its a matter of sharing strength to each other.

We can connect teamwork through communication. Communication is a two way street. A team that communicates together is more likely to do the things necessary to be successful. Honestly, you need someone to talk to make you happy and of course to have some information and that's one that we called teamwork. And because to succeed at the task in hand everyone involved needs to combine their efforts. If everyone does their job well, then it increases what the team can accomplish. And teamwork has to be recognized by everyone and know that great things can happen if individuals master the fundamentals and work together as one unit. Everyone has their own unique role, but each person's individual role must be recognized and appreciated. So, Teamwork is Very important to us. Caring for others and sharing their strength to others.

WEEK 3: HOW TECHNOLOGY CAN AFFECT THE WAY OF COMMUNICATION

Communication is an essential part of the human experience. However, as humanity evolves, technology is evolving with it, and impacting the way the communicative aspect of our lives functions. The effects of modern technology on how we communicate with one another are vast and varied, with both negative and positive impacts for our business and personal lives.Technology plays an important role in our lives. We receive entertainment and information in a convenient format from the technology in our lives. One of the most important areas that technological advances play a role in our lives is in communication. Although we often take communication technology for granted, it is nonetheless influential. Whether it's family, friends or a significant other, distance makes life very difficult and complicated. Phone conversations can only do so much and take place so frequently, which is why modern technology is helping communication so much. Technologies such as video conferencing, text messaging and social networking sites like Facebook and My Space can help keep friends and family updated on your life.

Although technology is a way of sharing information. It gives people a better understanding on things and is a lot better than writing down things because it is a hands on activity. Technology is the resource for making life easier. But the technology can affect us, maybe it is good or bad specially to the students. At this current day and age, students have cell phones. The majority of students that have cellphones usually are texting in class, just to talk to their friends about who knows, and who cares. Because they are constantly texting and not paying attention to what the teacher is saying. However, some forms of technology are used to advance the current amount of knowledge one person, or a group of people have. With the ability to communicate with others around the world, students can try to find people that can help them better understand whatever courses they are taking. And they could use the ability of communication to try to find someone who is very fluent in the language, and talk to them to try to understand it much better then they already do.

Week 2: Why We Communicate?

Communication is a tool with which we exercise our influence on others, bring out changes in our and others’ attitudes, motivate the people around us and establish and maintain relationships with them. Communication makes a major part of our active life and is a social activity. This social activity is pursued verbally through speech, reading and writing or non-verbally through body language.Communication skill is not language specific. It is not as though speakers of a particular language have refined communication skills whereas; the speakers of some other language have unrefined communication skills. But communication skill is related to the culture of the group to which the individual belongs. All messages that we send or receive are processed by a mental-filter. This mental-filter or the mindset is forged by our family, friends, neighbourhood, the school and society. Human, communication is more complex, varied and has several objectives, it is complex because of the use of language, a repertoire (Store-house) of previously accepted and agreed oral and written codes. It is varied because it ranges from simple gestures or facial expressions to the most advanced e-mail technologies.

Communication is important to us in order to understand each and everyone of us. We communicate to persuade that we want someone to do something and this desire of ours is communicated. We communicate in order to give or provide information. We communicate to seek information. And we communicate to express our emotions like courage or fear, joy or sorrow, satisfaction or disappointment with appropriate gestures and words.

Week 1: CAS IS FUN!

In my fist day in Lyceum of the Philippine and be part of CAS Family it’s really fun. I enjoyed in orientation for freshmen and transferees. In that day, I said to myself “I have no regrets Choosing my course of multi media arts here in this department” and being part of CAS Family.
At first, I think it’s hard for me as a transferee student to adjust in the system of this school. But as time goes by I realize that it’s not really hard as I thought. And  because the CAS Family are friendly to freshmen and transferee students. And you know what, the CAS Family is very active in every activity and every programs.
For me, I really appreciate the efforts of CAS students and I see that they enjoyed what their doing. I’m so excited for the coming days of my college life here in Lyceum and being part of CAS family. I hope, I’m one of the participants in the coming activities of CAS. And I hope I can have more friends in CAS department not only in my course.
Truly, CAS is really FUN!! And I prayed that more strength and wisdom to come in CAS family.
